Job title: Contract Production Operative Location: Banbury Rate: £14.55ph (PAYE) plus shift premium Shift: Double Days (Rotational) 6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm Duration: 6 Months + As a Production Operative you will: * Carry out General Assembly Duties * Follow instructions and adhere to processes contained within Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) * Ensure high level of 5S, keeping all working areas clean and tidy at all times including: Clean Floors, Work Surfaces, Machines and Equipment * Ensure all equipment and machinery is used in the correct, safest and most efficient way at all times * Ensure that all assembly and production is completed in line with customer requirements and in line with the Business Plan * Carry out TPM * Support continuous improvement and ACE deployment through active participation on Lean Events, Workshops and Continuous Improvement activities. Proactively seek to identify opportunities for improvement * Operating machinery to ensure production targets are met You will bring to this role: * You will be able to read, understand and follow SOP's (work instructions) * Good communication skills * Ability to identify and be able to question sub-standard process/product * Problem solving techniques and ability to work on own initiative.
