Our client, a leading manufacturing organisation, is seeking dedicated and skilled Production Operatives to join their team in Banbury. This is a full-time role with a duration of 6 months. As a Production Operative, you will play a vital role in the production process, ensuring high-quality output and maintaining efficient operations. Key Responsibilities: Carry out General Assembly Duties as per the provided instructions. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) meticulously to ensure consistency and quality. Maintain a high level of 5S by keeping all working areas clean and tidy, including floors, work surfaces, machines, and equipment. Utilise machinery and equipment correctly, safely, and efficiently at all times. Complete assembly and production tasks in line with customer requirements and the Business Plan. Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities. Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the deployment of ACE methodologies through Lean Events, Workshops, and Continuous Improvement activities. Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions. Operate machinery to meet production targets. Requirements: Ability to read, understand, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members. Aptitude for identifying and questioning sub-standard processes/products. Proficient problem-solving techniques and the ability to work independently. PC literacy for data entry and digital communication. Flexibility and eagerness to acquire new skills. Previous machining experience desired.
