Trimming Operative – Temp to Perm Hours: * Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 16:15 * Friday: 07:30 – 12:30 Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour Introduction We are currently recruiting for a Trimming Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Coventry on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking long-term, stable employment with full training provided. Key Responsibilities * Trimming and cutting materials including fabric, leather, foam and composite materials * Spray gluing components using approved adhesives and application techniques * Working from instructions, patterns and templates * Carrying out visual quality inspections to ensure standards are met * Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workstation * Working as part of a team to achieve daily production targets * Adhering to health & safety procedures, including PPE and COSHH requirements Candidate Requirements * Trimming or upholstery experience preferred but not essential * Full training provided for candidates with the right attitude * Good attention to detail and manual dexterity * Willingness to learn and follow processes * Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team Health & Safety Requirement * Candidates must be clean shaven to ensure the correct fit and safe use of a respirator mask when carrying out spray gluing duties
