Key Responsibilities of the Product Marketing Specialist Market Analysis: Customer insight and research. Understanding of competitive and market landscape. Understanding of key market and channel trends. Go-To-Market Strategy: Creation and ownership of customer-centric go-to-market strategy. Definition of appropriate segmentation, targeting, and positioning plans. Leadership in market launches of new products. Category Communication Plan: Definition of key messaging. Leadership in implementation of category communications and content marketing plans. Financial and Market-Share Growth: Implementation of tactics to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share growth. Continuous Improvement: Category Subject Matter Expert (SME). Marketing leader for process development and implementation. What We’re Looking for in the ideal Product Marketing Specialist: Qualification in Marketing and/or Business Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a marketing role (category marketing / product marketing specialist / trade marketing), preferably in the Automotive Industry. Previous exposure to, and understanding of, the usage of key economic indicators, financial drivers & business metrics to generate strategies and produce positive results. Experience of working in a marketing environment in a multi-country role with a strong focus on customer interaction and engagement. Demonstrable experience and capability in turning trends, data, and insights into marketing strategies, tactics, and creative messaging. Keen problem-solving skills and a willingness to take on complex challenges. Excellent communication skills. A full UK driving licence as the role will involve travel.
