Job Title: Procurement Specialist (Prototype Operations) Envisage Recruitment is partnering with a premier automotive innovator to recruit a Procurement Specialist for their Prototype Vehicle Operations (PVO) team. This pivotal role ensures the smooth supply of components for cutting-edge pre-production builds, serving as the crucial link between suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing teams.   Key Responsibilities Supplier & Parts Management: Secure and monitor delivery commitments from suppliers, ensuring alignment with prototype schedules. Proactively address delays. Performance Targets: Achieve KPIs including 87% on-time delivery for initial builds and zero production delays for non-released parts (NRPs). Logistics Coordination: Oversee cost-efficient shipment of NRPs from dispatch to storage. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate cross-functionally to negotiate production slots and resolve supply chain issues. Supplier Relations: Conduct site visits to enhance partnerships and improve performance metrics. Agile Working: Adapt quickly in a fast-paced prototype environment. Ideal Candidate Experience: Background in procurement, supply chain or logistics, ideally within automotive, aerospace or advanced manufacturing. Skills: Excellent negotiation and supplier management abilities Ability to work under pressure in prototype-driven timelines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Desirable: Knowledge of NRP processes, 3D printing or prototype build operations.
