Principal Design Engineer / Senior Design Engineer - eVTOL ARCA Resourcing is partnered with a business that are at the forefront of future mobility who are looking for a Design Engineer to join their expanding team – varying levels are considered, up to Principal level. You will need a creative mindset and approach to problem-solving aimed at generating novel ideas as the Rotor designer will be responsible for leading the development of the rotor hub assembly. Responsibilities: * Conceptualisation and initial design of the complete rotor hub assembly * Integrate the rotor hub with the electric drivetrain * Rotor blade design Experience: * Designing propeller or rotor hubs, or other dynamic systems * Helicopter/tiltrotor systems * 2D drawing and 3D modelling with appropriate GD&T * Ideally you would have worked on electric aircraft (preferably eVTOLs), however this is not a pre-requisite There is the opportunity for a long-term contract, outside of IR35 where hybrid (UK) work is available.
