Techniche Global are supporting a manufacturing company to appoint an experienced Principal Design Body Electronics on a long-term contract assignment for Harness, Power Supply Validation and Body Electronics  to be a part of their facility  in Cranfield just outside of Milton Keynes. Job Duration – 12 months rolling 39 core working hours Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-1.20pm Hybrid working typically 3 days/week on site in Cranfield, Bedfordshire Deliverables and KPIs: Application and integration of electrical and electronic components and systems to Nissan European vehicles Releasing and maintaining the vehicle BOM Capture of customer requirements and creation of high level specs Close coordination and cooperation with global Alliance R&D centres Management of tier 1 suppliers to achieve Q, C, T targets Management of supplier and in-house validation to Nissan standards Creation and maintenance of end-of-line configuration data Having ‘Frontline’ responsibility for Plant and Market support Qualifications/Skills Required: Knowledge of hardware and software development processes Project and supplier management experience Knowledge of CAN, CAN tools and vehicle diagnostics Ability to travel within the UK and internationally to suppliers, plants, other global R&D centres etc. on an infrequent basis.
