Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Pricing Analyst on a rolling 12-month contract, to join a multinational, automotive manufacturer based in Goodwood. Location: Goodwood Pay rate: £23.43ph Standard working hours: 40 hours per week (hybrid working after 3 months training period) The role of the Pricing Analyst is to support the Pricing Team, based in the Parts Pricing division, where you will be responsible for ensuring all new parts have valid prices set up and preparing cyclic reports to ensure the business is on track with targets. Duties & Responsibilities: Working with all aspects of pricing management and pricing structure Dealing with currency fluctuations, transport fees, customer demands and current market situations etc. You will be point of contact for the dealer network, area managers and internal and external partners. Setting retail and dealer prices in line with new model launches and maintaining target margins across the project. Uniting of prices between markets Profit margin reviews Setting up costs for internal parts Creation of 15 external and 2 internal price files on quarterly basis Liaising with other teams within the business Data analysis and reports preparation General analytical supportCandidate Specification: You must have either a degree or relevant working experience within economics, finance, or an accounting field. Good working knowledge in both aftersales and a spare parts business Pricing experience within a global, multi-currency function Experience using SAP. Ability to work on own initiative and to prioritise with strong self-management skills. Working knowledge of MS Office software products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Strong analytical and mathematical skills Fluent in English is a must.
