This is a busy dealership environment with an on-site café, and you will be an important part of this team, helping to ensure high-quality vehicle prep work and service. Duties of a Prep Technician / Fast Fit Motor Technician You will be working as part of the Automotive team and will be responsible for: Engage in continuous training and development to maintain current knowledge of products and services. Mentor and support apprentice technicians as needed. Ensure that all vehicle preparation activities are performed safely and meet both internal standards and manufacturer specifications. Carry out scheduled preparation tasks on pre-owned vehicles. Skills and experience of a Prep Technician / Fast Fit Motor Technician As a Prep Technician / Fast Fit Motor Technician, you need to have experience with: Full UK driving licence, ideally with experience from a manufacturer. Proven experience as a Prep Technician, with relevant qualifications such as Level 2 or equivalent. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail. Strong customer service orientation and effective communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to meet deadlines. It would be beneficial to the Prep Technician / Fast Fit Motor Technician role if you also had: Good communication skills, in particular with written and verbal English Access to reliable transport.
