Powder Coater - Night Shift Opportunity Basingstoke Engineering Business - Immediate Start Available Got a steady hand and an eye for detail? We're looking for an experienced Powder Coater to join our clients growing team in Basingstoke. This is proper hands-on work where your skills make a real difference to the finished product. The Role: You'll be working night shifts (4pm - 2am, Monday to Thursday) in a busy but friendly team environment, powder coating manufactured plates that go straight into assembly or out to clients. We're not talking about quick touch-ups here – this is precision work that requires someone who takes pride in getting it right every time. They work with the full range of coatings: polyester, epoxy, and epoxy/polyester hybrids. Whether it's decorative finishes that need to look perfect or protective coatings that need to perform under pressure, you'll be working across applications that really matter to their customers. The work itself is varied – you'll be loading and unloading the spray booth, setting up for different coating types, and making sure every plate that comes through meets our standards. It's physical work, but satisfying when you see the quality results. What We Need: You've got experience with paint spray or powder coating – you know the difference between a good finish and a great one, and you understand that the prep work is just as important as the application. You're someone who naturally pays attention to detail. When you're coating components that are going into engineered products, there's no room for "that'll do" – and we're looking for someone who gets that. You can work well as part of a team but don't need your hand held. Night shifts mean you need to be self-motivated and reliable – your teammates are counting on you to pull your weight. What's In It For You: This is a permanent position with a growing engineering business. They're not going anywhere, and neither is this role – it's proper job security with a company that's building for the long term. The night shift pattern gives you decent work-life balance – four days on, three days off means you get proper time to yourself while still earning a full-time wage. You'll be working with quality equipment and materials, not trying to make do with second-rate kit. They invest in their processes because they know it makes a difference to both the work and the people doing it
