Expleo are working with a major Automotive Manufacturer in the UK, our client is looking for an Automotive Passive Safety Engineer, to join their research and development facility. Based close to Milton Keynes / Bedford, you will be working within a dedicated team of development engineers, on an ongoing contract basis. The Passive Safety Engineer is responsible for passive crash safety performance, conducting safety performance planning, test planning, and analysis of CAE and physical test results, then producing test analysis reports. The successful Passive Safety Engineer will ideally be degree educated in a relevant subject matter, experienced in passive safety performance, with knowledge of safety restraints systems, body engineering or electrical architecture and systems. You will have an understanding of vehicle passive safety design concepts, hold experience in interpreting, executing and analysing a variety of Regulation and Consumer based passive safety crash tests and be familiar with automotive simulation and analysis tools.
