About the role   Porsche Centre Chester is looking for a punctual and enthusiastic Parts Delivery Driver to join our fantastic team! As a Parts Delivery Driver, you should share your passion for our brand every day and immerse customers in the world of Porsche. The Parts Delivery Driver will be responsible for safely transporting automotive parts and supplies between various locations, ensuring timely delivery to our customers and internal departments. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.   About You   Ideally, you will have previous experience working with a premium brand and an understanding of the automotive industry, however, this is not essential.   - Safely operate a company-owned van to transport automotive parts and supplies to designated locations. - Load and unload parts and supplies from the van, ensuring proper handling and securing of items to prevent damage during transit. - Plan efficient delivery routes to maximise productivity and ensure on-time deliveries. - Provide excellent customer service by delivering parts to customers in a courteous and professional manner. - Verify the accuracy of delivery orders against invoices and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery. - Communicate effectively with the parts department and other team members to coordinate deliveries and ensure accuracy. - Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on the van to ensure it is in good working condition. - Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while operating the van. - Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the van and its contents at all times. - Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery activities. - Knowledge of the local area will be beneficial as well as excellent navigational skills.    Physical Requirements:   - Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds. - Ability to bend, stoop, and reach overhead. - Ability to sit for extended periods and drive for long distances.   Working Conditions:   The Parts Van Driver will primarily work outdoors, driving the van to various locations for deliveries. The position may require exposure to varying weather conditions and physical exertion associated with loading and unloading items.
