Our Client, a leading car manufacturer are currently looking for a Parts Supervisor to join their business based out of their Sidcup Dealership.  As a Parts Supervisor you will be in charge of delivering excellent customer service both to our client’s customers and to internal colleagues, Knowledgeable and professional you’ll work with your team to maximise upsell opportunities whilst delighting our client’s customers. You will help manage our client’s current stock levels, as well as helping source parts for their customers or themselves.  This is a great opportunity for an experienced Parts Advisor to take the next step in their career, or a time served Parts Supervisor/Manager looking to increase their OTE.    About the role Speaking to customers over the counter sourcing the right part for them Qualifying orders, checking information, and making sure all is correct Selling parts over the phone and over the counter Offer other products/services that may help the customer Design local promotions, negotiating with local suppliers to achieve the best possible terms and monitors results accordingly Agree goodwill gestures and customer discounts Supervise the team by personally demonstrating and encouraging the skills and behaviours associated with our client Ensure that the Parts team work closely with colleagues in Sales, Service and Administration to deliver excellent customer service Monitor staff training needs, ensuring training and development plans are in place and up to date for all members of the team Taking inbound calls from customers, advising and helping them in any way possible Order parts for trade and retail customers Notify customer on arrival to allow work to be scheduled and minimise parts stockholdings Helping coordinate the parts drivers Work with individuals to address performance issues Supervise the day to day operations of the Parts Department to ensure the achievement of key targets (e.g. parts & accessory sales volumes, aged stock, speed and margins) Plan and manage parts and accessory stock levels to meet customer requirements and minimise cost Manage stock visibility to ensure all necessary personnel have accurate information on availability and price Negotiate with non-franchise parts suppliers Review and improve Parts processes and systems continuously to deliver increased levels of customer satisfaction whilst maximising profitability    About you Must have experience working within a Main Dealer environment   Be an experienced Parts Supervisor Must have experience working as a Parts Advisor Can handle a busy workload and deliver on promises Be able to coach and manage people effectively Have great product knowledge and be confident in your own ability Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be able to keep up Understand the customer journey and deliver the best service possible Have excellent communication skills both F2F and over the phone    About the company Excellent basic Salary Realistic and uncapped OTE Ability to progress through internal promotion Excellent benefits package, including pension, healthcare, and car scheme Manufacturer training Fun, friendly working environment Flexible progression based on your career aspirations    About our client Our client is a leading car automotive dealership in the UK specialising in Japanese brands, they currently employ over 500 people across 11 retail dealerships and are looking to expand even further.    What’s next?
