An excellent and rewarding job opportunity has arisen for an experienced Stores Person / Storekeeper in the Reading area. What does the role involve? - To support the Engineering function of a busy automotive depot by providing an effective stores department backed up with streamlined administration. - Responsibility for daily duties including the effective monitoring of stock usage, reordering and processing deliveries. - Ensuring that workshop requirements are met by ensuring back-office systems are compliant with the needs of the garage. You will have previous experience working as a Parts Person, Stores Person or Storekeeper in a Car Workshop, HGV Workshop or Bus Workshop. The successful candidate will have effective written and verbal communications, as well as proficient IT Skills. You will be well-organised and be able to work well in a team. A valid forklift licence would be desirable but no essential. However, you must be able to obtain one if you do have one. This role is paying an hourly rate of £18 per hour and is a full-time position working Monday – Friday.
