Parts Manager Hoddesdon £45,000 per annum Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm Job Description – Responsible for the parts ordering, supply, receipt & returns at our Parts Hub in Hoddesdon. The role is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast paced, energetic environment, covering all aspects of parts required for vehicle repairs. You will liaise with the onsite estimators to ensure the parts required for a vehicle repair are ordered in a timely and accurate manner from the relevant supplier. The role will require good interpersonal skills and attention to detail, along with strong verbal and written communication skills across various levels of the business. You will report into the site management team, and you will also be responsible for managing a Parts Administrator who will report into you. Your regular duties will include the following, but not limited to – * Ensuring repair parts are ordered accurately, delivered on time and in line with workshop requirements. * Ensuring any parts returns are managed efficiently to ensure credit note and refund deadlines are met with our suppliers. * Ensuring suppliers provide the correct discounts and delivery terms according to SLA’s. * Monitoring stock parts and consumables for the workshop and controlling issue to the workshop. * Responsible for booking parts in and out and conducting monthly stock takes, reporting on accuracy and reasons for discrepancies. * Assisting other departments as required in line with work volume requirements * Any reasonable ad hoc requests at the management’s discretion. Key Skills * Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment. * Good understanding of parts systems and Microsoft office. * Attention to detail. * Ability to work within a time sensitive environment. Overtime and weekend working may be required in times of peak volume. The salary for this role is £45,000.00 per annum paid monthly.
