PARTS MANAGER. Stephen James BMW has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Parts Manager to join the Bromley Aftersales team.  This is a great opportunity to develop your career with one of the world’s most admired brands in the automotive industry. YOUR ROLE. As the Parts Manager you will be overseeing the Parts department, ensuring efficient inventory management, and providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.  You will be responsible for ensuring your department achieves the BMW Parts Purchase Target every month as well as adhering to all BMW / MINI UK contractual standards. The main duties of the role include. Manage and oversee the parts department, including staff supervision and training Manage and maintain parts inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking parts Develop and manage inventory control procedures to minimise loss and optimise stock levels Coordinate daily operations of the Parts trade retail teams Monitor, analyse and report on department performance and profitability Manage and maintain quarterly stock checks Create budgets to forecast accurately and control expenses Manage supplier relationships and service levels YOUR PROFILE. Excellent customer service and communication skills Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent organisational and multitasking skills Ability to develop rapport and trust with customers and to resolve conflict situations calmly and reasonably. Proven experience of working as either a Senior Parts Advisor, Parts Supervisor or Parts Manager. ABOUT US. SALARY AND HOURS. Basic salary: £37,500 with an OTE of £41,000 per annum Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm or 7.30am-5.30pm, and Saturdays, 8am-2pm, on a rota basis (currently, 1 in 3) to be paid as additional hours. BENEFITS.
