In this role, you will play a crucial role in our operations by managing the allocation of parts into stock, booking parts onto the system, and ensuring timely fulfilment of parts orders. Additionally, you will be responsible for liaising with suppliers to request delivery dates, arranging returns for credit, and contributing to the effective management of supplier relationships. Key Responsibilities * Allocate parts into stock and maintain accurate inventory records. * Book parts onto the system and ensure proper documentation. * Follow up on parts orders and ensure timely delivery. * Communicate with suppliers to request delivery dates and track order statuses. * Coordinate returns for credit and manage the associated paperwork. * Contribute to managing the supplier relationship to ensure efficient and effective supply chain operations. About You The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills: * Previous experience working in a purchasing role, ideally within the automotive industry. * Commercially astute with a keen attention to detail. * Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently. * Strong organizational and time management skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Proficiency in relevant computer applications, such as inventory management software.
