SGB Parts Advisor   Salary: £27,580 - £30,630 plus excellent benefits package! Working Hours: Rotating shift pattern Monday - Friday 06:00 - 15:00 | 10:00 - 19:00 and every other Saturday paid as over time 07:00 - 12:00 Scania GB are looking for an individual with excellent customer service skills to take on the exciting role as a Parts Advisor. The main responsibility of this role is to provide timely and efficient support for the Aftersales operation whilst meeting and exceeding sales targets. Key Responsibilities: Order parts in line with operational needs and chase suppliers. Assist with delivery and collection of parts when required, ensuring they are packaged and documented correctly. Support increased part sales and fixed price repairs through proactive selling utilising the primary national part sales programmes. Answer the phone in a friendly and open manner using the company standard greeting. Build and develop customer relationships through the provision of sound parts knowledge and excellent customer service, ensuring that customer requirements are met or always exceeded. Assist in controlling optimum stock profile for the branch whilst minimising levels of obsolescence. Proactively embark on perpetual stock checks working to reducing stock check line discrepancy rate.   Character: Ability to build rapport and positive relationships – Working with the customer to build professional relationships to maximise sales opportunities and meet the customer’s needsTrustworthy – Managing own workload, ensuring the customers are kept up to date Trustworthy – Managing own workload, ensuring the customers are kept up to date Forward thinker, using own initiative under pressure– Be able to overcome any obstacles that present themselves under pressure whilst ensuring the customer’s needs are still met.
