Fleet Parts Administrator Location: Northampton Salary: £28,000 per annum Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fleet Parts Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the parts inventory and administration for our fleet operations. This role is essential to ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our fleet maintenance and repair activities. Key Responsibilities Parts Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels for all fleet parts, ensuring availability to minimize downtime. Order Processing: Place orders for required parts with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and cost-efficiency. Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers to negotiate prices, resolve discrepancies, and ensure quality standards are met. Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of parts transactions, usage, and stock levels using inventory management systems. Fleet Support: Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure parts are allocated efficiently for scheduled repairs and servicing. Compliance: Ensure all processes align with company policies and relevant legal requirements. Reporting: Generate regular inventory and cost reports for management, highlighting key insights and areas for improvement. Customer Service: Act as a point of contact for internal stakeholders, providing updates on parts availability and order status.Skills and Qualifications Experience: Previous experience in a fleet, automotive, or logistics parts administration role is highly desirable.
