Our client is a global, leading precision component manufacturer primarily operating in the Aerospace sector. They manufacture precision engineered parts for aerospace customers (mainly precision fabrication and machining) and are looking for an Accounts & Payroll Administrator to assist team.   Accounts & Payroll Administrator   Fixed Term Contract (6 Months) £13.57 an hour (£12k Pro Rata) 07:00am-16:00pm OR 08:00am-17:00pm Monday & Tuesday 17 hours per week Derby   Accounts & Payroll Administrator Job Description Process all invoices in line with agreed Service level agreement Create new supplier accounts and maintain existing supplier accounts Petty cash and safety shoe transactions Reconcile supplier statements including but not limited to the top 20 suppliers Prepare control account reconciliations for purchase ledger - inclusive of GRNI Monitor GRNI and collate manual orders received not invoiced Prepare stock and manual order accruals and prepayments Process supplier payments by BACS or one-off payments for review for processing Enhance controls in place for processes and suggest improvements to the current processes and controls Respond to supplier queries within 72 hours and reduce supplier queries by assisting the business in getting things right first time Create new customer accounts and maintain existing customer accounts Assist with credit control when requested Process ad hoc sales invoices and credit notes Assist in the preparation of the daily cash books Assist with weekly timesheet checks and reporting Answer telephone, scanning and filing  Accounts & Payroll Administrator Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications Purchase ledger and payroll more important than sales ledger Job-specific IT systems: Customer/Supplier Portals; Financial Systems, Banking    If you feel you’re a good fit for this position, please click ‘apply
