Oaklands Global, are currently looking to recruit an experienced Nominated Part 145 Postholder for a reputable international rotary organisation. Responsibilities * Compliance and Oversight: Fulfil the duties of the Nominated Person for Part 145 as required by UK CAA and company standards. Ensure adherence to all relevant airworthiness management regulations outlined in UK Part 145. * Communication and Reporting: Notify the Part 145 Accountable Manager of any emerging deficiencies requiring attention, ensuring transparency in financial decision-making, standards acceptability, and maintenance execution. Uphold compliance with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) and incident reporting responsibilities. * Operational Efficiency: Optimize engineering operations to maximize the availability of aircraft, both those under the UK AOC and those operated on its behalf. Plan and oversee third-party maintenance activities as directed by the Part 145 Accountable Manager. * Quality Assurance: Ensure that maintenance activities comply with Part 145 and contracted Part CAMO requirements. Align the Company Maintenance Expositions with company standards and implement them across all bases. * Team Leadership: Provide guidance and leadership to Line and Heavy Maintenance Managers, fostering a culture of safety and excellence. Lead and manage a team of Engineers to ensure safe operations and maintain and enhance the team's capabilities. Financial Management: * Budgeting: Support the Part 145 Accountable Manager in developing budgets aligned with group standards and control costs within approved limits. Assist in revenue generation efforts and identify capital expenditure requirements. Safety and Communication: * Safety Advocacy: Champion safety initiatives within the engineering department and ensure adherence to safety practices in line with AOC and Group requirements. Ensure thorough training, briefings, and information dissemination to all staff. * Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders at all levels to ensure their involvement in major decisions and collaborate with other Business Units for effective integration of their inputs. * Incident Response: Implement corrective actions following audits and incidents, participating in investigations as required. Operational Oversight: * Regulatory Compliance: Maintain processes aligned with group policy and regulatory requirements while overseeing the implementation of Lean practices to enhance efficiency. * Collaboration: Liaise with the Continuing Airworthiness Manager and BCentral Technical Services for matters related to continued airworthiness and Pt 21 activities. * Facilities Management: Ensure engineering facilities meet Part 145 standards, providing compliant storage for parts, tools, and equipment required for maintenance tasks. Requirements * Hold a Category B1 or B2 and C maintenance license. * A degree-level qualification is preferred. * Must meet the requirements of Part 145.A.30. * Extensive experience in Aircraft/Helicopter Engineering/Maintenance. * Previous management experience is essential, with experience in a similar role being advantageous. * Planning and project management experience is desirable. * Strong leadership abilities with a vision for high performance. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly to diverse audiences. * Effective conflict resolution and interpersonal skills. * Strong organisational and prioritisation skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
