Job Responsibilities As a Paint Sprayer, you will: Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and masking Mix and apply paints, varnishes, and other finishes according to specifications Use spray equipment, brushes, and rollers to apply coatings evenly Inspect finished surfaces to ensure high-quality standards Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised workspace Work with a variety of materials, including metal and composites Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines Person Specification To be successful as a Paint Sprayer, you should ideally have: Previous experience in painting or spraying, ideally within the aviation or automotive industries Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Knowledge of various painting techniques and materials Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team Hours of Work and Pay Up to £16.50 per hour, dependant on experience 37-hour week Monday to Thursday - 08:00 to 16:30 Friday - 08:00 to 13:00 Breaks 15-minute morning break 30-minute lunch break (unpaid) 10-minute afternoon break Overtime Over 37 hours a week and Saturday: x1.5 Sunday and bank holidays: x2.0
