As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a talented Vehicle Paint Technician to join our team at our state-of-the-art Bristol site. About the Role As a Vehicle Paint Technician at Steer, you’ll work on a variety of vehicles, including electric and hybrid models, to deliver exceptional paintwork. Your responsibilities will include: * Surface Preparation: Cleaning, sanding, and masking vehicle surfaces in readiness for painting. * Paint Application: Mixing and applying paint to exact vehicle specifications using advanced spray guns and tools. * Spray Booth Operations: Ensuring flawless results by expertly using our spray booth. * Quality Assurance: Meeting the highest standards of precision and customer satisfaction. * Team Collaboration: Working closely with your team to meet deadlines and maintain workflow. * Safety & Organisation: Keeping a clean, safe workspace and adhering to health and safety guidelines. About You We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional with: * Proven Experience: Previous experience as a Vehicle Paint Technician or in a similar role. * Technical Expertise: Proficiency in automotive painting techniques, including working with electric and hybrid vehicles. * Equipment Skills: Knowledge of paint mixing systems, spray guns, and other relevant tools. * Industry Insight: A solid understanding of the accident repair process. * Commitment to Quality: A meticulous eye for detail and a dedication to excellence. * Team Spirit: Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
