In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and finish of vehicles undergoing repair and restoration. As a Vehicle Painter/Prepper, you will be responsible for operating our spray booth, meticulously preparing vehicles for painting, ensuring colour accuracy, and ensuring the final painted job meets our high standards. Responsibilities * Operate and maintain the spray booth to achieve optimal paint application. * Inspect vehicles to ensure they are masked and prepared to the required standard for painting. * Mix and match colours to achieve precise colour matches for vehicle paint jobs. * Apply paint coatings to vehicles with precision and attention to detail. * Inspect painted vehicles to ensure quality and consistency. * Address any imperfections or issues in the painted finish. * Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency. * Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace. About You * Proven experience as a Vehicle Paint Technician, preferably within an automotive repair environment. * Proficient in operating spray booths and other painting equipment. * Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. * Knowledge of colour mixing and matching techniques. * ATA or NVQ qualification would be advantageous. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills. * Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies. * Commitment to upholding safety standards at all times.
