A permanent opportunity has arisen for a Laboratory Support – Track Assistant to maintain, support and develop the labs mechanical and analytical systems as and when required. This role is a night’s position working 8 pm to 8 am. Working four Nights on and four nights off. Other aspects of this role include: To provide a troubleshooting and advisory service for the group Laboratory Automation systems. To assist in first line engineering support and work with other members of the team when required Administer and maintain the GLP track and other analytical equipment as required in due course To participate fully in on-going and future company projects To participate in the on-call system for GLP and other analytical support To respond to emergency requests for repair of equipment in a timely manner, and if necessary, to liaise with supplier/manufacturer to arrange repair Any other duties as required by the company. This is a hands-on role at a very well-known and established Laboratory. To be considered for this role you must possess: Excellent written and verbal communication skills The ability to work on your own imitative and as part of a team To be flexible, motivated and a team player.
