AMLR Manufactring & Engineering recruitment services have partnered with a leading East midlands Aerospace Manufacturer who are seeking a qualified NDT Level 2 Inspector to join in their Derbyshire based facility. This is a minimum of 6 months contract. The succesful candidate is required to have EN4179 OR NAS410 certification for Radiographic Testing (RT) and Dye Penetrant Testing (PT / PFD) to support their commitment to quality and safety. You will be responsible for carrying out visual, PFD and x-ray NDT,level 2, ensuring our fabricated and machined components meet stringent specifications and customer requirements. Responsibilities: * Perform NDT level 2 inspection using techniques such as visual weld inspection, radiographic testing and dye penetrant testing. * Interpret test results to assess the integrity and quality of welds and fabricated components. * Ensure all inspections comply with relevant industry standards, customer specifications, and company procedures. * Maintain detailed inspection records and generate comprehensive reports. * Collaborate with the fabrication and welding teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. * Adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean and organised work environment. * Stay updated with the latest NDT level 2 technologies and best practices. Qualifications: * Certified to EN4179/NAS410 standards in relevant NDT level 2 methods (Level II or higher preferred). * Proven experience in NDT level 2 inspection within the Aerospace industry. * Familiarity with quality standard AS9100, Nadcap * Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
