Salary in range £45-50k Bonuses at target level of c £15k Car allowance Pension Our client is a leading player in Online Remarketing for the automotive industry Role Responsibilties As a National Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading our business development efforts at a national level. You will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with current customers and stakeholders to drive revenue growth. This role requires a deep understanding of remarketing within the Automotive Industry, excellent communication, relationship building and planning skills with a proven track record in business development. Key Responsibilities * Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer and prospect needs within the remarketing sector * Develop and implement prospecting plans and strategies to expand our market presence with existing customers and prospects * Deliver structured presentations and proposals to win new business and maximise revenue from existing customers * Visit existing customers on a regular basis for review, maintain relationships, understand future plans across multiple touch points within these organisations ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction * Adapt and adjust our sales proposition across multiple market segments, including OEMs, Finance and Leasing, Rental and Dealer networks * Collaborate and build relationships with internal teams, including directors, finance, marketing and data to align business development with the business’s objectives * Responsible for ensuring all activity is updated and maintained on our internal CRM database with all relevant Information * Respond to any sales enquiries or leads by organising and following up meetings with customers or prospects * Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure effectiveness of business development initiatives * Prepare regular reports and presentations for the senior management team providing an overview of activity, development activities, progress, outcomes and next step by account and market segment Essential Key Skills & Knowledge * Sales experience across B2B * Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the Automotive Industry * Ability to convince others to absorb/embrace new products and concepts * Ability to build sound relationships at a senior level across OEMs, FN50 and AM100 * Highly organised in approach coupled with the ability to manage personal time effectively * Self-starter with the ability to work remotely * Commercial awareness Benefits An exciting position in a rapidly growing organisation.
