Stamping Unit (Press Shop) Multi Skilled Maintenance in CH65, Ellesmere Port An exciting opportunity has arisen in Ellesmere Port, CH65 for a well-established car manufacturer in the area and is looking to expand its Stamping Unit. We are currently looking to recruit Multi Skilled Maintenance to work in the Stamping Unit at the Manufacturing Site on a Part-Time, ongoing position. Pay Rate : from £18.60 / hour to £20.70 / hour - Expected 24 hours / week The shifts will be rotational between days and nights on a weekly basis ie one week you will work a Friday and Saturday nightshift (18:00 to 06:00), the following week you will work a Saturday and Sunday dayshift (06:00 to 18:00). Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following: A sound knowledge of Press Line operation & associated equipment is advantageous Multiskilled - Electrical & Mechanical background Knowledge of Siemens S7 PLC and devices advantageous Fanuc Robot, Programming & set-up advantageous Understanding of Hydraulic & Pneumatic circuits advantageous A high level of self-motivation and tenacity Sound interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The main responsibilities and role requirements are as follows: Reactive maintenance to resolve breakdowns. Performing planned maintenance tasks. Support the production teams during production runs. Systematic problem solving for repetitive issues/faults. CIP – apply continuous improvement process.
