Motorcycle Mechanic/Technician Location: Portslade, Brighton Salary: £27,000 - £35,000 per annum Our client is looking for a new Mechanic / Technician to join their team. The Role As a Mechanic/Technician you will be presented with a variety of jobs ranging from puncture repairs to engine rebuilds (depending on ability) so no two days will be the same. You will work on their key brands; Yamaha along with other brands such as Sinnis, Suzuki, KTM, Husqvarna and Peugeot etc. The ability/willingness to adapt and problem solve is important as is the ability to work to targets and estimated job times. There may be times when you will need to speak to customers face to face or on the telephone where a technical explanation is needed. MOT Tester an advantage. Duties: Build & PDI new motorcycles. Servicing and repairing a wide variety of motorcycles. Carry out health checks. Achieve maximum personal efficiency. Understand and adhere to manufacturer guidelines. Carry out MOT's if qualified. Skills and Qualifications At least 2 years’ experience as a qualified Motorcycle Mechanic or Technician - preferably with Multi-Franchise City & Guilds Level 3 Automotive or similar qualification?
