MOTOR VEHICLE TECHNICIAN / MOT Tester - Settle area Our client, a family owned group with a fantastic reputation, are looking to recruit an MOT Tester/Prep Technician The ideal candidate will have: The ability to interact with our customers effectively Experience of working in a team Ability to act on your own initiative and take responsibility for the quality of your own work To behave in accordance with our clients core values and principles, and treat people with respect and courtesy. The willingness to constantly learn and be able to improve your own performance Perform MOT tests on all makes and models, including class 7 vehicles Conduct MOT, repair, report, service, and pre-delivery inspections of our complete range of brand and non-brand products Conduct thorough road testing of vehicles and ensure proper handling and storage of vehicle partsRequirements: Valid MOT Test Certification Own your own tools (desirable) Possession of a valid UK driving license Successful completion of an Advanced Level Apprenticeship in Light Vehicle Repair or equivalent BTEC or City & Guilds qualification Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues Demonstrated commitment to continuous development and willingness to embrace change Safety-conscious mindset prioritizing health and safety mattersWhat We Offer: Competitive salary Company pension Free on-site parking Full-time schedule: Monday to Friday, with one in three Saturdays on a rota (Paid overtime) Overtime opportunities available Salary: £32k - £38k basic £42k +++ OTE (uncapped) Mon to Fri 8:30am to 5pm, Saturday 8:30am to 12:30pm (Rota) If this sounds like you, apply today in the strictest of confidence!
