We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Model Maker to join our production team. This is a hands-on, workshop-based role focused on creating high-quality moulds used in the manufacture of carbon components. Precision is key - any imperfection in the mould will be reflected in the final product. Key Responsibilities Manufacture and finish moulds to a very high standard Use hand and power tools such as spatulas, files, sanders and polishing tools Ensure mould surfaces are perfectly smooth and free from defects Work from drawings, templates or technical specifications Maintain a clean and safe working environment Collaborate with engineers and production staff to meet quality standards Skills & Experience Strong practical and manual skills Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship Background in a hands-on trade such as car body repair, carpentry, model making, or similar Experience in automotive and/or motorsport environments is highly desirable Familiarity with composite or carbon fibre components is an advantage Comfortable working with fine tolerances and precision finishes What We Offer Competitive salary (depending on experience) Training and development opportunities Stable, long-term work in a specialist manufacturing environment Friendly and supportive team
