This role is pivotal in providing high level Frontline Support to our client’s valued customers, focusing predominantly on Trucks, Buses, and Coaches, alongside other Commercial Vehicles. Company Benefits * Company van will be provided for all frontline duties * Annual leave is 240 hours per annum including bank holiday entitlement * Company sick pay scheme * Personal pension with enhanced contributions * Death in service benefit for pension members * Cycle to Work scheme * Enhanced paternity and maternity benefits * Loyalty holidays * Excellent personal development and training opportunities Key Responsibilities: * Direct Customer Support: Provide exceptional frontline service for troubleshooting and emergency repairs, primarily within a designated geographical area. * Routine Maintenance and Repairs: When not engaged in frontline duties, perform maintenance and repairs at depot facilities, ensuring all types of commercial vehicles are serviced. * Diagnostic Testing: Efficiently diagnose faults and conduct thorough vehicle tests to identify issues, ensuring robust and lasting solutions. * Documentation Management: Accurately complete all relevant paperwork and procedures associated with warranty, contract, and retail work. * Preventative Maintenance: Undertake preventative measures to reduce customer costs and vehicle downtime. * Adherence to Standards: Keep up-to-date with manufacturer training and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of work methods and technical data. * Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a team setting and independently when required, maintaining excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Qualifications, Skills, and Experience: * City & Guilds Level 3 Heavy Vehicle/PSV qualification or equivalent and HGV experience is essential, dealership is preferred. * Proven track record in the diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repair of commercial vehicles. * Full and current UK driving licence; an LGV licence is advantageous. * Strong organisational abilities, exceptional problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to manage high-pressure situations and adapt to shifting priorities within a dynamic work environment.
