Mobile HGV Technician needed Company Van Plymouth Our client, a Cornwall based haulage company providing a premium service, is seeking for a Mobile HGV Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with heavy goods vehicles and have a strong technical background. Role: Mobile HGV Technician Hours: Day shift; Monday - Friday Location: Plymouth Key Responsibilities: * Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a variety of HGVs and commercial vehicles. * Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. * Carry out inspections and MOT preparation to ensure vehicles comply with all regulations. * Provide high-quality customer service while working independently at different locations. * Keep accurate records of work completed and parts used. Requirements: * NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) or time-served experience in a similar role. * Proven experience working on HGVs and commercial vehicles. * A full UK driving licence (preferably with Class 1 or Class 2 entitlement). * Strong diagnostic skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. * Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
