Our client is one of the UK’s leading automotive and transport companies, with operations across the country. Key Responsibilities: Within the Coach Builder role you will be responsible for the below tasks: * Transform standard vans into high-quality minibuses suitable for schools and private customers. * Utilise basic joinery skills to create interior structures and solutions tailored to specific customer requirements. * Handle wiring tasks to install electrical components such as lighting, audio systems, and safety features. * Operate a variety of power tools and machinery to cut, shape, and assemble materials for the conversion process. * Work closely with a diverse team of professionals, including designers, engineers, and fellow factory workers, to achieve efficient and high-quality conversions. * Manage workload effectively to meet production schedules and deadlines. * Use various materials (plywood, aluminium etc). * Use various adhesives. What kind of person are we looking for? * Must have experience in using a range of power tools such as drills, saws, sanders, and other relevant equipment. * Must be able to work well as part of a team to achieve project goals. * An understanding of safety protocols associated with the use of power tools. * Some knowledge of construction materials and their applications. * Will need to have effective communication skills to coordinate ongoing tasks with colleagues and supervisors. * Time management skills are essential to this role in order to complete tasks within established deadlines. * Candidates must be willing to learn new skills.
