We are currently recruiting for Fabrication and MIG Welder, for one of our clients based in Wolverton, Milton Keynes. Job Type: Full-time Salary: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year - dependes on the expiriance Monday - Friday, 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm Responsibilities : * Undertake all tasks of own trade and noncore activities of other dissimilar trades and maybe required instructing others * Ability to prioritise own work * Advise and inform of any defects found in the course of your duties * Complete necessary paperwork according to Depot Procedures and adhere to such procedures * Ensure that work is completed in a clean and tidy manner * Take care of all working property and handle it in a safe working manner, ensuring it is returned to its proper location * Deliver and be responsible for quality of work undertaken and to required standards * Non-core activity may require checking to ensure it meets required standards * Input of data (IT) * Follow and work to all site safety standards and rules * Follow all work to all technical instructions Education Requirements/Person Specification: * Minimum NVQ level 2 or equivalent In Welding or similar qualification or Time served apprenticeship or equivalent at NVQ Level 3 * Trained in problem solving techniques, root cause analysis and team working * Ability to work to a high level of detail and precision * Ability to follow technical instruction both written and verbal * Not essential – NVQ Level 3 in non-core trade i.e. Engineering Maintenance/Production or equivalent qualification * Experience in an engineering environment
