Job Description: Industrial Recruitment Services Ltd (IRS) are currently recruiting for a MIG Welder to join our client based in Smethwick. Our client is a well-established manufacturing company offering long-term opportunities within a busy production environment. We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join the team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out tack welding on a range of metal products, ensuring all work is completed to the required quality standards. Candidates must have previous MIG welding experience and be able to work efficiently within a fast-paced workshop environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy. A welding mask and all required PPE will be provided. The Role: * Carrying out MIG tack welding * Working from production instructions * Ensuring all welds meet quality standards * Inspecting completed work * Working to production targets * Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 7:00am – 3:00pm Benefits: * £14.00 per hour * Welding mask and PPE provided * Full-time position * Weekly pay * Long-term ongoing work The Person: * Previous MIG welding experience essential * Tack welding experience preferred * Good attention to detail * Reliable and hard-working attitude * Able to work within a busy production environment Please apply with your CV.
