MET Technician Location: York PAYE Rate: £16 p/h LTD Rate: £18 p/h Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday Hours: 6am–6pm Igloo has a great opportunity for an MET Technician to work for our client’s company in York. The role offers successful candidates an excellent opportunity to work within one of the UK’s leading automotive companies who have operations across the country. The Role: * Using diagnostic equipment to diagnose and repair electric faults. * Stripping and refitting parts on vehicles which have been involved in accident. * Repairing or replacing damaged panels and components to a required standard. * Fixing mechanical damage e.g. engine, suspension or steering. * Working from job cards which detail what work to be done on a vehicle. What kind of person we are looking for? * You will need to be able to demonstrate your previous MET Technician working experience and knowledge. * Must be able to provide your own tools. * Able to carry out the work to a high standard. * Excellent attention to detail. * Must hold a full category B driving license with no more than 6 points for minor offences. * Must be able to work under own initiative as well as being a team player
