MET Technician Avant Recruit are proud to be partnering with our client, a market leader within Accident Repair industry. We are currently searching for an MET Technician. This role is offered on a permanent basis with excellent benefits and competitive salary. The main responsibilities for the MET Technician are as follows: * Carry out body repairs on various vehicle brands * Mechanical, electrical and trim work including part replacement, stripping and fitting / ADAS calibrations / reset / steering columns / racks / subframes / suspension * Damaged / defective part reporting during repair process * Checking new part lists * Follow correct repair methods as per manufacturer * Liaise with Parts Department and VDA * Follow check lists for quality control – lights, alignment, electrics etc To be a successful candidate for the MET Technician role you must: * Have previous experience in Accident Repair * Have ATA / NVQ or similar, however, this is not essential as experience will be accepted * Happy working in a busy environment Salary and Benefits: * £45k - £50k Basic / OTE £55k * Pension scheme * Enhanced leave for maternity / paternity * Flexible working hours * Healthcare * High street discounts * Industry discounts * Amazing career progression * Free parking * Monday to Friday If you feel you have the right skill set, knowledge and experience and are looking for a new and rewarding challenge then please apply for the MET Technician role now
