Salary/rate: Hourly rate is £21.33 attracting an average of 21% shift allowance, making average annual remuneration approx: £52.7k p.a. They are on a 3-shift rotation so 14:00-22:00 / 06:00-14:00 and 22:00-06:00 rotating weekly. Main purpose of the job: * This role will form part of the plant technical team for the MES (Manufacturing Execution System) function for new project production launches and all current production processes across multiple plants. PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: * Significant experience in an automotive and engineering environment. * Robotic awareness trained for movement, recovery and fault finding (ABB, Nachi and Fanuc). * Knowledge of PLC programming and fault finding through to fix. * Programming and fault-finding knowledge within Sorion, Orion and Kepware. * Audits - ISO19011 training or proven experience in automotive production sector (ISO/TS 16949, IATF16949, VDA). * Clear understanding and able to apply PFMEA logic to identify and manage risk/feasibility. Knowledge of: * Keyence and Omron Vision, Camera and Sensor Systems. * Eaton System programming and fault finding through to fix. * ECR (Engineering Change Request) Processes. * Knowledge of and execution of Practical Problem Solving (Six Sigma Methodology). * PCR (Process Change Request) Processes. * Waterjet machines and robotics. * Key controlling documents (PFMEA, Control Plan and SOI’s). * Knowledge and Understanding of Launch Process (Gateways).
