Key Experience * Concept design through to detailed product design. * Producing CAD models and Engineering drawings to the requirements of BS 8888. * Selection of Engineering materials. * Knowledge of manufacturing technologies and processes. * Production support, documentation and assembly & test tooling. * Liaise with sub-contractors for the manufacture of mechanical parts. Key Attributes * A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification. * Packaging of electronic assemblies (EMC, power dissipation etc). * Background knowledge of Electro-magnetics. * Understanding of sensor & transducer technologies. * Experience of low volume manufacturing. * Able to work off own initiative or as part of a team. * Self-motivated with a hands-on approach.
