Due to exciting growth in projects our client seeks a classic car Mechanic to join their prizewinning, and triumphant business. You will have the opportunity to work with best in their field, contributing your craftsmanship and expertise into projects along side advanced small teams. Stripping engines and carrying out diagnostics for repairs will be second nature as you rebuild engines to the highest standard including detailed measuring and blueprinting. You, the Mechanic will use CNC machining to ensure precision and accuracy during builds to support with complex designs and tight tolerances. Free onsite parking Company Pension Company Social Events Training and Development Packages This Mechanic vacancy will have the following responsibilities: Rebuilding engines to the highest standards including detailed measuring and blueprints for longest possible engine life and reliability. Carry out full diagnostics and planning repairs and/or modifications Using CNC machining to ensure precision and accuracy during builds The ability to produce and interpret technical and engineered drawings Adapting throughout builds to the incorporation of contemporary automotive technology into classic vehicles. Our client will be looking for the below experience and qualifications: Previous exposure within a similar or same role in the automotive industry essential Significant experience as a mechanic on classic cars being advantageous Basic CNC turning and milling skills An enthusiasm for the incorporation of contemporary automotive technology into classic vehicles. Expert attention to detail The ability to work under pressure under own initiative Confident working independently and closely with a small team Strong and meticulous communication between departments and other individuals within workshop
