Job Title: Mechanic / Bodyshop Fitter – Commercial Vehicles Location: Ashford, Middlesex, TW15 Salary: £40,000-£49,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications) Monday to Friday – 45 hours a week Monday – Thursday – 8.00am-5.00pm Friday – 7.30am-3.45pm Our client has 25+ years of experience, as a top-tier commercial vehicle repair hub serving London's logistics and transport industries. They are now actively recruiting for an experienced Mechanic / Bodyshop Fitter for their Bodyshop in Ashford, Middlesex. Full training will be provided, giving a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanic to transfer their skillset across to a Bodyshop environment. Role & Responsibilities: * Replacing or repairing damaged areas to a high standard * Carry out all mechanical and bodywork on allocated jobs * Installing new components and welding / soldering * Dismantling, fault-finding and diagnostic work Person Specification: * Previous experience as a Mechanic, ideally with experience in commercial vehicles * Eye for detail * Strong communication skills Benefits: * 20-day holiday, plus Bank Holidays * Company pension. * Cycle to work scheme. * Early Friday finish.
