Our premium brand Automotive client is currently recruiting for the following role: MBD Simulation Engineer - £33/hr (Inside IR35) - Hybrid/Warwickshire - 6 Months (potential for yearly renewal) Division: Vehicle Engineering Position Description: Expertise with 1D, MBS, MATLAB and software tool deployment is absolutely integral to the Dynamics team being able to set objective metric targets, to understand vehicle performance, and deliver the efficiency gains required by the business. This role enables us to increase our performance, efficiency & remove physical prototypes. Skills Required: - Application of first principles of engineering in Vehicle Dynamics. - High proficiency with SIMPACK, CarMaker, Matlab & Simulink. - Strong Vehicle Dynamics background and working knowledge. Experience Required: - High proficiency with SIMPACK, CarMaker, Matlab & Simulink - Strong Vehicle Dynamics background and working knowledge - 1D Plant & Control System Modelling - Demonstrable applied mathematics skill - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong working knowledge of AGILE methodologies - Degree or relevant equivalent experience preferred Additional Information: This role is on a contract basis and is Inside IR35.
