Role Overview My client is seeking an exceptional individual with remarkable leadership and management skills to spearhead the planning and commercial operations. As the Materials Planning Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring efficiency, collaboration, and operational excellence within the aerospace domain. Responsibilities *Provide unparalleled leadership to the planning and commercial team, fostering efficiency and collaboration. *Lead the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process, presenting executive overviews to senior leadership. *Oversee manufacturing order coordination and develop standards to meet business goals. *Collaborate with various departments to establish capacity plans based on demands and resource availability. *Monitor throughput, manage material inventories, and report on production progress. *Drive ERP system utilization and standardization across the team. *Promote best practices and continuous improvement initiatives. *Analyse inventory levels and forecast sales based on customer orders and capacity. *Ensure timely customer delivery while minimizing inventory input. *Adjust production schedules as needed due to constraints or changes in demand. *Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth operations and on-time deliveries. *Maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications *Degree in Operations, Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred or equivalent experience. *Minimum 5 years' experience in planning or customer-facing roles. *2-3 years of management experience, preferably within aerospace. *Exceptional leadership, man-management, analytical, and communication skills. *Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
