Materials, Planning & Logistics (MP&L) Salary: PAYE - £15.62 Hours: Sunday to Thursday 10:00pm to 6:30am Employment Type: On-going work, Igloo have got an exciting new opportunity with one of our customers who are based in Coventry (CV6). Our customer is a large automotive company who deal with the logistics and distribution of automotive parts and products all over the UK and Europe. The Job * Maintains and manages customer expectations, processes, and prioritises customer demand by liaise with clients to ensure demand is in line with production. * Understands the importance of different parts and their base data to ensure processing is in line with the JIT demand (Just-In-Time Demand) * Responsible for receiving and processing customer orders and schedules in various formats. * Understanding and interpreting the customer requirements accurately and efficiently. * Ensure all parts are set up prior to processing to ensure no time is lost during the processing stage * Ensures that the pick priorities are in line with client’s requirements * Identifies goods requiring special handling (urgency, valuable package) * Ensures that replenishment takes place in a timely manner so as not to cause a shortage in the pick. * Ensures that all system and stock anomalies are investigated, resolved & reported. * Detects problems by checking documents or lists * Detects and corrects goods allocated to the incorrect warehouse locations * Finds out the causes and assess the impact of discrepancies noted during processing stage What we are looking for: * MP&L experience within the automotive industry * Possesses strong IT skills * Has a great attention to detail * Proactive and able to prioritise workload * To work effectively on your own and as part of a team, with a positive 'can-do’ attitude.
