Job description Crawley Audi Job Benefits · 25 days annual leave + 8 Bank Holidays. · Company pension scheme · Employee referral programme · Working Pattern and applicable rotas · Annual bonus potential · Manufacturer training · Harwoods Academy JOB PURPOSE Department/Business/Location: Service Reports to: Workshop Controller and Aftersales Manager Direct Reports: None KEY RESPONSIBILITIES This Job Description is not contractual, and the content may be updated at any time. * To maintain skill levels and full awareness of all technology used in the vehicle range, attending relevant Master Technician training when required. * Talk directly to customers with any long-term vehicle concerns and ensure that all work is carried out in full and followed up until resolved. * To be fully conversant with all manufacturer’s technical literature and information bulletins and ensure that this information is passed out and understood by all technicians. Identify training and development needs within the workshop team. * Liaise with Workshop Controller/Aftersales Manager to quality control all work undertaken by the workshop team. * In conjunction with the Workshop Controller, ensure that there is adequate workshop staff coverage to meet the business’s opening hours. * To hold and attend regular meetings to ensure that any workshop concerns or ideas are recorded and reported back to the relevant persons. * To coach and develop other technicians and apprentice technicians within the workshop. * To keep work area and protective clothing clean, tidy and in a safe condition in order to uphold the manufacturers and company image. Skills & Requirements Essential * Relevant City & Guilds, BTEC or NVQ accreditation * Competency in numeracy, literacy and IT. * Energy and enthusiasm. * Full UK driving licence. * Smart appearance. Experience * Relevant manufacturer experience and training. * Previous/current VAG or premium brand Master Technician experience.
