This is a role with a purpose and vision. As a Master Scheduler / Planner, it’s about more than just data, dates, and deliverables; you have the knack for understanding and communicating what numbers mean in practical and logistical terms. You help to shape and drive business growth. It’s vibrant and versatile work, as you know, but instead of being lost in the numbers as a corporate cog, this job is an opportunity to be at the heart of a dynamic, fast-growing SME with a concrete and realistic growth plan. Already boasting high-profile customers such as Rolls-Royce, this business oozes a collective pride and culture in the high-tech parts it produces, the timescales it hits for its clients, and the big-picture impact of its products. Recart is recruiting for this exciting engineering business on an exclusive basis. There are no tricks or traps at play; this employer just wants to avoid an avalanche of agency queries and, instead, allow one partner to home in on the most suitable people. Do you offer…? At least five years of MRP system experience in a multi-level manufacturing environment Demonstrable success in delivering capacity planning, on a rolling basis Evidence of an analytical mindset via a problem-solving project Get in touch if you’re a Master Scheduler / Planner with composure, confidence, and conviction. In this post, you’ll be an authority on cross-departmental liaison and key communications across all levels of the business. A leader in loading and scheduling work, you’ll go far beyond data analysis and data-driven decisions; you’ll drive plans, suggest and act on ideas, and adapt to changes in priorities. As work is fed into the business, you’ll develop and orchestrate – you’ll be a bird’s eye view on the strategic, practical aspects of whether it’s the right type of work at the right time, and how and when work can be achieved. Additional elements of the role include ordering parts, developing the MRP system, planning work and resources, communicating with the shop floor, creating work orders and planning capacity, and delivering statistics to support strategic business decisions. This is a predominantly on-site role but with scope to work, for example, one day remotely each week. There’s a noon finish on a Friday, 23 days of annual leave plus bank holidays on top, and a contributory pension scheme. Interested? Click apply and look out for a follow-up email. Recart will contact suitable, shortlisted applicants for an initial, informal discussion about the role and the hiring company – before a mutual decision on whether to submit your application to the hiring company.
