Full job description Job Title: Master Technician Department: Mechanical Our client is looking for a well-experienced vehicle technician with a good 5+ years experience as a technician who has interest in cars and is fast in problem-solving. Requirements and skills: - Knowledge and previous experience on technicial and mechanical problems: - Engine rebuilding and other engine faults. - Turbos - DPF issues - Brake discs, suspensions etc. Schedule: Mon-Fri 9-6 + Saturdays (week off week on) Are you a Car Technician, with 5+ years’ experience? Are you a great problem solver? Do you have the drive to set your own targets and exceed them? If so, this might be the right role for you! What will I be doing? * Overseeing a team of mechanics * Service, diagnose and repair a fleet of mixed vehicles to the highest manufacturer standards * Carry out road tests when required to confirm and diagnose correct operation * Operate stock control and manage the parts ordering process * Accurately log all work items and purchase orders in our business management system * Ensure workspace and tools/equipment is maintained to a high standard What do I need for this role? * Your own tools to be stored in a secure tool box provided by us * 5+ years experience as a vehicle technician * Understand and comply with health and safety standards * A full and valid Driving Licence It will be a bonus if you had: * MOT Tester qualification * NVQ (or equivalent) in Motor Vehicle Technology Lvl3+ The Package * Basic Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 per annum (depending on experience) If you're keen to learn more about this opportunity, apply now with your CV.
