On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Manufacturing Lineside Engineer on an initial 12-month contract. As the Manufacturing Lineside Engineer you will be responsible for working line side within a production environment, supporting, and anticipating issues before they arise. Role: Manufacturing Lineside Engineer - Nights Pay: £35.03 per hour Via Umbrella + 30% shift allowance Location: Broughton Contract: Monday- Thursday 20:45pm to 6:00am, 35 Hours per week, 12 Months contract IR35 Status: Inside Security Clearance: BPSS Responsibilities Forward thinking at improving and anticipating issues and resolving these before they may happen. Project work is also involved in resolving long-standing issues or potential future improvements. PPM of production tooling to keep these to the required build standard. Large emphasis on quality improvement so always looking to improve. Interface between operations and wider manufacturing engineering functions. Minimize disruption and support root cause analysis. Deliver process improvements on safety, quality, cost and productivity. Essential Skills: Ideally from an aviation background with Airbus experience being highly desirable. Would consider candidates from a similar industry background or large manufacturing organisations. Quality experience would be considered.
