This role is focused on ensuring efficient project delivery, developing team capabilities, and contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the business. This role will provide hands-on support across technical and some managerial functions. Key Responsibilities: Along with the Technical Project Leads support the management and execution of client and internal R&D projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Collaborate with the Engineering Director and Programme Management team to ensure that the Manufacturing Technology team is adequately resourced for all projects. Assist in defining and implementing the Manufacturing Technology, Engineering, and Operational Performance strategy, including technology roadmaps and process improvements. Help in continuously reviewing and optimizing Manufacturing Technology, Engineering, and Operational processes, systems, and tools. Identification, protection, and management of relevant intellectual property for the business. Contribute to the preparation of proposals for new projects, ensuring technical and commercial feasibility. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and internal teams, to support business development and project execution. Ensure the team operates in compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintain a strong safety culture.  Build and maintain strong working relationships with the Manufacturing Technology Director, CEO, General Manager, Programme Director, and other senior leaders. Maintain the professional and positive reputation of the business through effective communication and representation. The Person: Demonstrated understanding and practical experience in manufacturing technology, lean manufacturing principles, and operational performance (e.g., DFM/DFA, waste reduction, optimisation). Ability to assist in managing and overseeing project delivery, ensuring resources, schedules, and budgets are aligned with business needs.  Assist in identifying talent needs within the Manufacturing Technology team, supporting recruitment efforts and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.  Support technical problem-solving by identifying and delivering the most effective technical solutions within the project's constraints.  Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical and project-related information clearly to internal and external stakeholders.  Actively support efforts to win new business by contributing to proposals and maintaining relationships with clients.
